So where should most businesses start?
Start by looking at your Google Business Profile and make sure you are consistently using the same name, address, and phone.
First, are you using keywords? On the Google Business Profile page, there is a section you can use to highlight the keywords that will help you get found. If you’re not utilizing the FREE advertising space then you’re not utilizing the full value of the page.

Seventh, schema. Make sure your schema is accurate. Schema works under the written copy you see on the page. Many times when Google bots are scanning your website they are reading the information as it is written in a code that they can understand.
Eighth, did I say content? Yes, increase your website content consistently. Get the information out there people are looking for and provide value to the reader.
Ninth, on-page SEO. Alt Tags, Geocoding, maps, all the necessary items needed to be a strong website.
